Well, it's really, really long. And Nicole Kidman spends the whole movie stark raving nekkid, often for no discernible reason, which seemed to please all the critics, who tend to credit her as being the best part of the movie. Also there's a big orgy, so basically it's got all the ingredients of an epic: excess, critical success, and group sex. So really what's not to like.
