A very belated welcome to Sarah, author of Tangmonkey's spiff new column Cocktail Conspiracies. Check it out if you haven't already. It'll knock your socks off.

As for the site reconstruction efforts, Rant comments are back up, and column comments are forthcoming. The Tangmonkey programmer gurus are also at work on bringing back the missing forum topics. Thanks to them on behalf of us groupies.

In other news, the amazing, egotistical Daler Mehndi, who you can learn about in his peculiar and recently revamped website, is being investigated for defrauding would-be immigrants.

Also, belatedly, peace to poor sad Eliott Smith.
