June 20/2003 (9:47 PM) ~ posted by Dan I stumbled across this tonight and felt compelled to share it with you all, so that you might have a good laugh, then console your loved ones and make peace with God.
Things like these are the reason that I insist that everywhere I live have three foot thick concrete walls. No one ever listens, but I insist nonetheless.
Just in case you were confused, here are some of the names that should tip you off:
Britney Spears. Kevin Costner. The Olsen twins.
THE. OLSEN. TWINS!!!
Why did they stop there? Were Pee-Wee Herman and Billy Ray Cyrus unable to get time off from McDonald's??
June 20/2003 (8:46 AM) ~ posted by Sean As part of the Ottawa Fringe Festival, columnist Dan Beirne ("Waiting With Nathan") will be performing with his first-rate sketch-comedy troupe, Better Than Shakespeare.
Better Than Shakespeare is astoundingly funny - the humour is bold, black and slightly absurd. I highly recommend the show to anyone who will be in Ottawa over the next ten days.
When? Friday, June 20th - 7:00pm Sunday, June 22nd - 10:30pm Monday, June 23rd - 5:30pm Wednesday, June 25th - 7:00pm Friday, June 27th - 9:00pm Saturday, June 28th - 9:45pm
Where? Ottawa University's Alumni Auditorium (in the Jock-Turcot University Centre). [Directions]
Your enjoyment is guaranteed... so long as you attend. I'll be laughing and weeping at the Monday show: choose the time that meets your fancy, and go, go, go!
June 15/2003 (11:23 PM) ~ posted by Sean Hallo hallo! I'm back from a visit to New York City and the green fields of New Jersey. Link-a-day is resuming in regular form as of now - if you missed them, be sure to check out last week's supply of links, which appeared in amalgamated form, (and which were contributed by Dan Beirne, in a hastily & clumsily arranged agreement, but which are wholly excellent!), here.
Since there were no TM Music posts last week, look forward to five this week - reviews of new albums by Blur and M. Ward, among others.
June 4/2003 (11:53 PM) ~ posted by Sean TM Music will be on a reduced posting schedule for the next week, as I take a short holiday.
